Beta-cyfluthrin and Bifenthrin have both been shown to have direct and residual activity against Spotted Lanternfly

Insecticidal soaps and botanical oils have both been shown to have some direct activity against Spotted Lanternfly

Several insecticide options have been identified in tests conducted in other states. Until Spotted Lanternfly arrives in California, and CA DPR has a say in the process, there are no approved pesticides to use on Spotted Lanternfly.
