2020 San Joaquin Wine Competition
Over the last several years, under the steady leadership of Marty Spate and our core group of distinguished judges, the San Joaquin Wine Competition has continued to grow, develop, and bring together an ever-increasing number of interesting wines from throughout California!
This year, we will be working with CSU Fresno Viticulture and Enology to Host the judging for the Competition, and our friends at Stefanelli Distributing Company will be receiving, storing and cataloguing the wines to ensure a proper handling of your product.
Dr. Fred Nury, Professor Emeritus of Enology and Published Author, Steven DeCosta, Director of Winemaking at O’Neill Vintners, Jeff Bitter from Allied Grape Growers and Mike Stepanovich, Wine Educator and Journalist anchor our competition expert judging panel.
We believe that winning wineries will find tremenEmdous value in both being able to achieve a quality assessment of the wines, but also to potentially reap financial rewards by getting an opportunity to gain valuable public recognition in California’s fastest growing regon – the Great Central Valley.
